Core Mission

Yugen Education Foundation exists to bridge the often wide gap between educational

research and the everyday realities of public school classrooms. We work hand-in-hand with

teachers — especially in under-resourced communities — to co-create practical, soulful

solutions grounded in research and rooted in empathy. Whether it is designing SEL-centered

libraries, nurturing reflective teacher writing, or building learning tools that speak the

language of children, Yugen is committed to fostering environments where learning is a

shared journey — one that values curiosity, courage, and care as much as content.

Our Focus Areas
